Water drips to my feet
When I run, I feel complete
My own little world in the sidewalk

I situated myself on the top of this climb
Arduous and unacknowledged, no one needs to know
Bitter feelings feed the ego dry and slow
So I let em all watch me from afar
I situate myself on top on the inside
Self-taught knowledge is all I've ever known
Happy feelings feed the heart and lets it grow
So I smile to myself and let them do so
I situate myself on the top of this climb
Not a place but an action to be honed
Somewhere within myself there's a home
Open to love, but all my own
